The annual 10-7 Retreat is held at the beautiful grounds of Muskoka Bible Centre. The retreat has been organized to offer a safe place for police officers and their spouses to worship and grow. To serve the professionals who are dedicated to protecting and serving in a world gone crazy.
All men and women of the policing career and their spouses are invited to join us for our annual retreat. Come enjoy a time of worship and equipping as we hear from those with experience in the field who will help fortify our marriages, strengthen our faith and encourage us in our career.
Our 2019 retreat will be held from SEPTEMBER 20-22. Our guest speaker will be Tim Schroeder. Tim is a pastor, author, former RCMP auxiliary member and Chaplain to the the RCMP and Kelowna Rocekts. Tim Schroeder is an “out of the box” pastor whose ministry has seen him in police cars, hockey dressing rooms, fire halls and karate dojo’s. As a marathon runner and motorcycle enthusiast his unique take on life has made him a highly sought after speaker and author.
Currently, Tim is a teaching pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in Kelowna, BC and is National Pastor for The Leadership Centre Willow Creek Canada.
Tim’s commitment to his community crosses all denominational lines. He served for more than ten years as an Auxiliary Member of the RCMP and is currently Chaplain for the RCMP and Kelowna Rockets Hockey Team. He has received many awards for his community service including the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal.
His book, Life By The Hour, has had significant impact both inside and outside the church.
Tim holds numerous educational degrees including a Bachelor of Arts; Master of Divinity; and Doctor of Ministries degree.
Key in Tim’s life is his wife Arlene, who is a Registered Nurse, and grown children Lindsey and Travis.
